Convenient to many nearby attractions around Blue Ridge
Some of our guests have ventured out to the nearby town of Blue Ridge, Georgia. There’s plenty to do minutes from the cabin. Here’s what our guests say:
Lots to do in town of Blue Ridge. We loved taking the scenic ride on the Blue Ridge RR along the Toccoa River and will definitely be back for a Fall run! We toured downtown, bought cupcakes from the shop that won the cupcake wars and ate at L.L. Beanery. Next time we will try Joe’s barbecue as suggested.
Recommend a visit to Mercier Orchards
We dined on trout at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant and enjoyed the scenery in and around Blue Ridge. We highly recommend a visit to Mercier Orchards.
Lots of cute little shops and restaurants
This cabin is close enough to the town of Blue Ridge to grab dinner. (Go check out Fannin Brewing Co! Tom makes the best beer!!) We loved downtown Blue Ridge! Lots of cute little shops and restaurants. Take a day trip to visit Helen, GA (German town!) and Anna Ruby Falls (SO pretty!).
Did some shopping in the town, rode the scenic railway.
This cabin offered all that we could have wanted
Many guests spend much of their time at the cabin – enjoying the hot tub, exploring the creek, swinging in our creek swing, playing games in the yard or in front of the fire. Here’s what some of our guests had to say about that:
This cabin offered all that we could have wanted. A quiet relaxing day at the cabin sitting by the stream, a secluded night in the hot tub or a trip to the historic town of Blue Ridge 10 minutes away . . . The swing over the water was wonderful. Most vacations, we have spent less time at our lodging, but with the comfort and amenities, we did some shopping and sight-seeing excursions during the day, but spent most of our time in the cabin . . . Our kids loved the huge front yard as well as the picnic table and creek swing . . . Waking up to the sounds of the stream outback – The water rushing over the rocks – made it extra special. Good place to come and relax . . . We saw the deer on the last morning.
Explore and find crayfish, newts, and baby fish…
This is the perfect quiet vacation spot. The cabin is perfect. The creek out back is absolutely amazing. My grandsons went out daily to explore and find crawfish, newts, and baby fish. They went out everyday to check on them, especially after a storm to make sure they were safe. Sitting in the swing down by the creek is a perfect way to watch the exploration and just relax. Would definitely love to come back. Sitting out by the fire pit with marshmallows listening to the creek is the end to a perfect day.
Wife, son, daughter-in-law, 2 grandsons ,11 & 15 spent 5 nights at this very nice cabin, room for all. Close to the horseback riding, canoeing and zip line activities we did. We didn’t even know there were neighbors next door. Large front yard for out yard dart games. The owners directions and recommendations were perfect. The creek, the swing and the hot tub were fun to enjoy.
The bonfires were amazing…
Stayed at the cabin for Christmas, and enjoyed it very much. The bonfires were amazing, and the sound of the river at night was a treat. The kids had tons of fun in the hot tub & even on the swing over the river! The hot tub and playing cards on the porch while it rained!
We were delightfully surprised that firewood was supplied. Visited the grocery store and make two great meals when we returned from our days adventures. We enjoyed a campfire and a soak in the hot tub both nights. It was very relaxing.
The creek in back was beautiful! We had a meal on the deck overlooking the creek one evening and I could think of no better place to eat a family meal. The location of the cabin was amazing. It was close enough to town to run in and get things, yet far enough away to be peaceful. We took the kids on the 1.6 mile loop on the dirt road and it was beautiful, enjoyable, and fun. The cabin was beautifully decorated. Had everything you could need to stay there! Nice cookware, plenty of plates and glasses for a large family. Plenty of space for our family of six (two adults, two teenagers, and two children).
It is convenient to many nearby attractions. Sharing stories by the campfire followed by a relaxing time in the hot tub each evening was sure to make for a restful nights sleep. There are a lot of things to do and see within a pretty close proximity of the cabin.
